  I would recommend this Midas repair location as one of Cambridge's hidden treasures. I was in need of a tow to have my truck repaired and call to talk to the manager. His telephone manners and warm reception allowed me to calmly explain my problem. He invited me to bring it in and they would solve the problem. Not look at it and guess the solution but "Solve the problem ".

  Had my brakes done here a couple years ago and it's a good thing it was the summer and not winter/icy roads. They installed one brake with the wrong bolt which meant that brake fluid could barely move in and out of it. Car would pull in one direction when I tried to brake and the other when I released the brakes. I took it to another mechanic after Midas checked their work and said they could find nothing wrong. Had I been dealing with this on icy winter roads it could have been disastrous. Choose a different Midas.

  The manager at this location, Jim, was laughable with his responses and the franchisee was simply a jerk. The Midas in Milton is owned by the same guy and although I have had pleasant dealings at the Milton location, the franchisee doesn't deserve any of my money. There are lots of good places to have your vehicle repaired. In my opinion, this place isn't one of them.

  Cole's Notes version: After overcharging me, my A/C still wasn't operable after 2 visits and I had to go elsewhere to have it repaired. They would not credit me either.

  RATING 0. Terrible customer service when I called after I just got my winter tires put on and the tire IS OFF THE RIMS you think they would help!!! NOPE the guy tells me to friggen google it. What a joke. Would not recommend to anyone because clearly they don't care if they put anyone's life in danger from not mounting on the tires properly and you know I already paid $200 to get them installed and they're not going to do anything to help

  Upon arrival the immediately they started to search for a solution. I did say they as all three mechanics had a look and worked on the vehicle even discussions happened many times to find the problem.

  I was considering suing, but ended up get a credit from Visa after I disputed the Midas charge and showed them the invoice for the same work from another shop (Thanks Brian's in Milton).

  Worst experience ever. I had typed up my whole experience to the point of exceeding the character count... and lost it (Yay me!!). I'm simply not willing to spend another 30 minutes retyping.
